 Fundraising and Supporter Officer 

15 hours per week NJC pay scale at SCP25 £9,710 per annum

Funded by Comic Relief for two years.

Women’s Health Information & Support Centre Ltd in Liverpool requires a Fundraising & Supporter Officer.  This is an exciting opportunity to use your initiative and creativity to help us develop and improve our strategies, as well as learn sought-after skills in charity fundraising.  in Liverpool City Centre on Bold Street.

15 hours per week with the possibility of increasing hours when additional funding is in place.

Main duties include:

1.     Developing a fundraising strategy with the Manager.

2.     Research potential funding opportunities and make detailed applications.

3.     Establish clear systems and to ensure regular applications are made.

4.     Dealing with supporters, developing fundraising from supporters and recruit new supporters and advocates on a local level.

5.     Delivering training on fundraising.

6.     Using IT systems to monitor and report on services.

7.     Monitor all activities to ensure that they meet Equal Opportunities and comply with Health and Safety.

We provide a women only service to vulnerable women. This advertisement meets conditions of the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, Para 1, whereby the sex of the worker (Female) is an occupational requirement.

Salary

 

Experience Required              

£9,710 Actual Annual salary for 15 hours (NJC pay scale  SCP25)

 

Writing successful funding bids, fundraising through supporter work, experience of the voluntary sector.

 
Education required A level higher or equivalent.
Job type Temporary Contract for two years.
Job status Part Time (currently 15 hours with a possibility of more hours, funding dependant)
