Job Vacancy – Volunteer Coordinator


Women’s Enterprising Breakthrough (WEB Merseyside) are recruiting a Volunteer Coordinator.

WEB Merseyside is a community-based service provider that supports women and girls (since 1993) and men and boys (since 2010) with complex needs who may be isolated, victimised, discriminated against, have low self-esteem and lack hope; a significant number of these being as a result of crimes such as domestic/societal violence, abuse, bullying, hate crime and other criminal activity.   

WEB Merseyside aims: to continue to deliver a high-quality service providing the space, time and flexible support to help individuals regain confidence /self-esteem and promote opportunities for personal growth and skills development to enable them to get more from life. 

WEB provides a wide range of holistic services from 1-1 therapeutic counselling, listening service, range of art/craft/holistic therapies.   Confidence building training; weekly young women’s/boys’ groups. 1-1 support, Service user inductions, Listening service and an Intensive Volunteering Programme of Support.

They are looking for Volunteer Coordinator to join their team, who will be committed to WEB’s aims and ethos and who will support WEB’s future growth and development.

JOB TITLE: Volunteer Coordinator

EMPLOYER: Management Committee of W.E.B.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Centre Manager (who is responsible to Management Committee of W.E.B.)

LOCATION: Mainly WEB, 176 Corporation Road and North End areas of Birkenhead

CONTRACT: Fixed term contract (3yrs) full time (35hrs p/w)

SALARY: £23,660 per annum (equivalent to £13 per hour)

HOURS: 35hrs per week; Must be flexible (may also require some evenings or weekend work as/when required)
