The Trustees of The Foundation Years Trust are looking for someone who will be the public face of the Trust, developing and communicating its findings to the professional and political world in order to influence policy, raise funds and increase public awareness of its work and manage all activities.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong organisational abilities. We are seeking someone with proven project management ability and successful experience of managing multiple projects and budgets. Our Director will need to coordinate and encourage the different strands of the Trust’s work and strategy and be able to work easily with a board of senior Trustees and staff to this end, along with raising an additional and substantial budget. The Foundation Years Trust Director must be committed to and able to inspire others in the crucial role of the “foundation years” in improving the life chances of poorer children.
Salary up to £60,000
Location: flexible, but Birkenhead is the Trust’s HQ, meetings in London are required and some travel throughout the UK will be needed.
