WEB Merseyside: is a community-based service provider that supports women and girls (since 1993) and men and boys (since 2010) with complex needs who may be isolated, victimised, discriminated against, have low self-esteem and lack hope; a significant number of these being as a result of crimes such as domestic/societal violence, abuse, bullying, hate crime and other criminal activity.   

Our aims: to continue to deliver a high-quality service providing the space, time and flexible support to help individuals regain confidence /self-esteem and promote opportunities for personal growth and skills development to enable them to get more from life.     WEB provides a wide range of holistic services from 1-1 therapeutic counselling, listening service, range of art/craft/holistic therapies.   Confidence building training; weekly young women’s/boys’ groups.   1-1 support, Service user inductions, Listening service and an Intensive Volunteering Programme of Support

WEB Merseyside has an exciting opportunity available for 2 project support officers to join the team, working for WEB Merseyside is an immersive experience whereby you will be encouraged and given the opportunity to part take in your own personal development as part of your training and ongoing development. You will be a part of a team that believes in working mostly autonomously giving you the opportunity to be creative and imaginative with how you work with staff, volunteers and service users alike. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and believes in WEB’s mission, aims and ethos.

JOB TITLE:                                         Project Support Officer

EMPLOYER:                                      Management Committee of W.E.B.

RESPONSIBLE TO:                           Centre Manager (who is responsible to Management Committee of W.E.B.)

LOCATION:                                       Mainly WEB, 176 Corporation Road, 69 Gautby Road, 32 Argyle St, 10-12 Bentinck St and North End areas of Birkenhead

CONTRACT:                                      Fixed term contract (1yr) full time (35hrs p/w)

SALARY:                                            £18,473 per annum (equivalent to £10.15 per hour)

HOURS:                                             35hrs per week; Must be flexible (may also require some evenings or weekend work    as/when required).
