Cerebral Palsy is a condition that affects muscle control and movement. It is usually caused by an injury to the brain before, during or after birth.
Stick ‘n’ Step offer free weekly conductive education sessions to children and young people from across the North West. Delivered from their specialised centres in Wirral and Runcorn, the sessions are designed to help each a child to reach their personal potential regarding their confidence, mobility and independence.
Working closely with the CEO and fundraising team (of 3), you’ll help to nurture and deliver Stick ‘n’ Step’s fundraising strategy, increasing all income generation through discovering and diversifying new opportunities to maximise growth.
The Head of Fundraising will manage both centres’ fundraising activity including bid-writing, trust and foundations, individual giving, community and events. Representing Stick ‘n’ Step across a number of networks you will produce regular reports and marketing material for donors, the CEO and the Board. As part of the senior management team, you will also contribute to the leadership of the charity as a whole.
