Barnstondale Centre – Cleaning:

Barnstondale is a residential and activity centre in Barnston, Wirral.

Visiting groups stay in our log cabin accommodation. We provide meals and a range of activities to the groups during their stay.

As we reach our peak season we need more staff to clean the cabins prior to the arrival of new groups. Working with others your duties will include brushing, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying bins, changing bedding and generally ensuring the cabins are spotlessly clean.

You will help ensure the site is tidy and support the kitchen staff with keeping the dining room and kitchen clean and tidy.

Hours average 16 hours p.w.  and will They will vary from week to week and include some weekend work. You will earn £8.25 per hour plus holiday pay. Initially this will be a temporary 6 month contract.

Staff have to be aware of their safeguarding duty in relation to the welfare and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.

Own transport is an advantage due to location

Barnstondale Centre – Outdoor Pursuits

Barnstondale is a residential and activity centre in Barnston, Wirral.

Visiting groups stay in our log cabin accommodation. We provide meals and a range of activities to the groups during their stay.

Reporting to the Activity Co-ordinator, you will deliver a range of outdoor pursuits from team building to archery and climbing. You need lots of energy and enthusiasm for engaging with young people, to build a rapport and motivate them to reach their full potential. Experience not essential – full training provided.

Hours average 16 hours p.w.  but will be on and ad-hoc basis by prior agreement. They will vary from week to week and include some weekend work. You will earn £8.25 per hour plus holiday pay. Initially this will be a temporary 6 month contract.
