Can you help an innovative charity to develop, could you be our new trustee?
Involve Northwest delivers a range of services that improve the quality of life for individuals and helps to strengthen communities. Current areas of activity include supporting people into employment, advice, Community connectors and domestic abuse services Formerly known as Tranmere Alliance, it has 58 staff in 2 locations. The charity’s annual income is now approaching £1.6m.
We are seeking experienced, motivated and passionate people who can sit on the board or trustees, work closely with the Chief Executive, represent Involve Northwest and contribute to the organisation’s strategic direction.
This is an excellent chance to be part of a growing charity work in an organisation, which is a leader in its field, at an important stage in its history and make a real contribution.
You will have well developed interpersonal skills, communication, networking and negotiating skills, which you may have developed from a range of professional backgrounds. Experience of being a Trustee or having other leadership skills is not essential but desirable, as a full induction will be given. Ideally, you’ll also be able to influence key individuals who can support the organisation’s aims and development. You should be prepared to attend 6 meetings per year.
The post of Trustee is unremunerated but Involve Northwest can reimburse out of pocket expenses.
