INNERVISION BAME POSITIVE ACTION FOCUS GROUP

0

Innervision would like to invite members of the Third Sector community to a focus group to gather your views into identifying barriers and good practice in relation to Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) employment and positive action.

Within the Liverpool City Region, there is evidence that structural inequalities are affecting the outcomes of BAME residents. This is demonstrated through labour market indicators: in the Liverpool City Region, Black residents are less likely to be in employment and are more likely to be paid lower wages, with lower wage growth.

As a result, the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has commissioned Innervision to undertake research and evidence gathering with a view to providing practical recommendations and solutions to address the barriers and issues in the City Region.

The focus group will take place on Friday 19th February at 11:45am on zoom and will last for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

You can register for the focus group here and after registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
