The Impact for Growth strand is for charities and social enterprises that are seeking to raise investments or contracts.
What’s the process?
Eligible charities and social enterprises must first attend a free one day impact management training session. After this, they can then apply for a grant – working with an approved supplier to develop a project that will improve systems and process. We have a £1.8m grant fund available and expect to distribute around 40 grants over the two year programme. We have just closed the pilot round!
The process starts with free training to tell you more about impact management and what the grant programme can help you achieve. There is no obligation for you to submit an application after the training so it is a great way for you to find out more. The closest training session to you is in Manchester on 16th October. The deadline to sign up is 6th September. Spots are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. You can find out more on: http://accessimpact.org/growth/
If you are interested, you first have to go attend this mandatory training and then you can submit an application with an approved provider (which we are) for a grant to improve your impact management processes and tools. The grant money can be spent on internal resources for you (staff), IT tools and hardware. A portion of it also goes to the provider (us) to deliver the work to you. Examples of work that can be done to improve your impact management include: analysing and improving ways to refine how you recruit beneficiaries onto your programmes to ensure you get the right outcomes, embed impact measurement processes across your organisations and teams, put in place a culture and practices of impact review cycles to ensure impact is reviewed by key overseers and decision-makers, help you set up online tools to collect, store and analyse your impact through a CRM dashboards, data diagnostics/validation/collection exercises, helping you improve your outcomes etc. There are obviously many more ways we can help you that will be specific to your needs; these just give you an idea of the work involved.
