Liverpool City Region Combined Authority would like to give organisation members and citizens within your communities the opportunity to be involved in Liverpool City Region with the aim to be the most progressive, values and ethics led economy in Europe, making the society fairer for everyone who lives here. They want to reimagine the pathway to employment, health and happiness for the most vulnerable in society. This is the bold vision they set out in the recently published Recovery Plan for the City Region.
As a first step, the Combined Authority has commissioned Housing Diversity Network (HDN) to conduct an independent and robust audit of its current policies, practices and procedures in relation to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
As part of this review, HDN will be running a couple of focus groups during November and early December to help them better understand your Lived Experience of working with the Combined Authority.
If you know anyone who would like to be involved, please read the attached to find out how to nominate. Closing date for nominations is 25th November 12pm noon, all nominees will be notified by 27th November to inform them if they have or have not been selected to take part.
As there are a limited number of places in the focus groups, if they are oversubscribed, they will use a diverse selection process to meet the requirements of the audit.
