As the weather warms up, why not hit the water at Wirral Sailing Centre!
The centre, based at West Kirby Marine Lake, is the ideal place to indulge your adventurous side with courses available for all ages and levels of experience.
The 52 acre lake is totally enclosed and mainly non-tidal, making it an exceptionally safe facility and a perfect environment for learning with their fully qualified instructors.
Taster courses include sailing, windsurfing and kayaking but, if you want something a bit more advanced, there are Royal Yachting Association courses available in sailing, windsurfing and powerboating plus British Canoe Union courses in kayaking.
In addition to the many courses on offer, Wirral Sailing Centre also operate several clubs such as the Adult Open Night and Junior Windsurfing clubs and also welcome Schools, Scouts and Guides, and Youth Groups.
Or, if you want something different for your child’s next party, why not hold a Splash! party? These include 2 hours of your chosen activity, fully supervised and under safe instruction, and use of a private room for an hour to provide refreshments for your guests.
Alternatively, why not take a DeeTour Discovery boat trip. These are a 2 hour voyage of discovery on the Dee Estuary, with the opportunity to see Hilbre Island from a different perspective and see Atlantic Grey Seals, who often pop up to swim around the boat!
