AWARD WINNING Hand in Hand Theatre have gone through to the English final of the All England Theatre Festival on 4th June at Maidenhead after becoming Merseyside winners and then North west champions they now represent the whole of the North against the winners from the central eastern and western regions.
Their production RIP Mr Shakespeare is a comic homage to the works of the Bard in this the 400th anniversary year. This is also part of RSC Open stages and last year the group represented the north by performing at Stratford upon Avon
If they win at Maidenhead then next stop is the British Finals in Cardiff and then the National drama Festival All winners Final at Hertford in July,
The group are delighted and so grateful to supporters who have helped raised money to pay for their trip. The HOYLAKE AND WEST KIRBY ROUNDTABLE donated £250 and the group raised £300 on justgiving crowdfunding page in just under 2 weeks.
“We are so proud of our achievements” said youngest member Naomi Reddy who is taking her GCSE’s at Neston High. Other participants range from 18yrs -60s and they are all having so much fun with this visually stunning and very witty production.
