I am delighted to announce that applications are now open for the 2017 GSK IMPACT Awards which provide funding and free training for charities that are working to improve people’s health.
The charity sector plays a key role in health care. Their work includes promoting healthy lifestyles, tackling inequalities and improving access to health services, supporting the self management of health conditions, supporting integration and care across organisational boundaries and providing advice, information and advocacy.
The GSK IMPACT Awards are judged by a prestigious panel of judges and provide national recognition for the winning charities. They also give organisations access to a free leadership programme, designed specifically for health charities, provided by The King’s Fund. After taking part in the training, organisations can then join our network of health charities which supports their ongoing service and organisational development.
