The Gas Safe Charity is offering a free, online Zoom workshop aimed at front line staff and volunteers who visit or work in the homes of vulnerable people.
The workshop is expected to last just over an hour and explains the sources, signs, and symptoms of high- and low-level carbon monoxide risks in the home and includes relevant scenarios to explain what steps to take if carbon monoxide poisoning is suspected.
The main focus of the event will be on how to spot and address the long term, low level risks which can result in serious consequences.
The online workshop is a mix of presentation, scenarios, and practical exercises. Only the presenters will be on video, but participants can ask (or type) questions as they go along.
