I attended the Fundraising Regulator briefing, hosted by LCVS yesterday and wanted to draw your attention to the consultation that is currently being done with regard to the Fundraising Code. I would strongly encourage you to take part in the consultation.

Consultation on the Code of Fundraising Practice – February 2017
In this first consultation on the Code of Fundraising Practice, the Fundraising Regulator seeks views on the following areas:
- Charity trustees
- The fundraising ask
- Solicitation (disclosure) statements
- Raising concerns about fundraising practice (Whistleblowing)
- People in vulnerable circumstances
- Charity collection bags
- Third parties
- General questions on the Code
