Safeguarding e-learning Courses
The Wirral Safeguarding Children Board (WSCB) have purchased a contract (until March 2019) for safeguarding e-learning courses from Virtual College and we are inviting partners to register their children’s workforce with us to be able to access all the courses free and unlimited until July next year. After that we may introduce a small cost for continued access to enable us to continue to provide high quality e-learning in the future.
The suite of online training contains over 40 individual safeguarding courses including courses to raise the awareness of neglect, domestic abuse, children sexual exploitation, radicalisation as well as general safeguarding awareness courses. This is in addition to the face to face multi-agency training courses we will continue to run.
To access the training each member of your organisation will need to be registered by us. To do this please complete the attached spreadsheet with the first name, surname and email address (highlighted in dark green) for all the staff you want registered. All other information on the spreadsheet is optional and we do not require it to register your staff. It is important however that the email address is accurate as anyone with an incorrect email address won’t be registered. The email address can be work (preferred) or personal. You can register as many members of staff as you want. Detailed instructions about how to register with us are attached.
Other than adding the requested information please do not make any changes to the spreadsheet as this will prevent the system registering you. Please also limit the number of staff on a single spreadsheet to 250 – but make as many copies of the spreadsheet as you need.
