We make grants of up to £30,000 over one to three years and provide access to business expertise to help our grantees achieve their goals.

To apply for funding, organisations must first register some basic contact details at the start of the funding round. The number of registrations accepted for each round is capped to ensure we are able to give every application the attention it deserves. Registration is run on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the cap is reached, the round is closed, so please register early.

The Fore is the only open-access funder in the UK offering development funding and strategic support to early-stage charities and social enterprises.

We are proud to be a funder without lengthy forms or restrictive criteria. We recognise you, our applicants, as the experts in your own fields so our process simply asks you to tell us who you are, what you need and how our funding would enable you to take a step forward in your operations. If we have any more questions, we will ask them of you individually.

We match successful applicants with friendly professional support – ongoing mentoring, strategic advice, governance support or other assistance. And because we are committed to helping all organisations learn, we give feedback to unsuccessful candidates and offer access to our regular, high quality training and networking events.

The Fore provides funding to UK-registered charities, community interest companies, charitable incorporated organisations and community benefit societies with annual income of less than £500,000.

We make unrestricted grants which have the potential to have a transformational impact on an organisation, whether by unlocking exponential growth, sustainability, efficiency or some other major step forward. We see our grants as investments in the organisations we support.
