What is Life Story Work? Life story work helps us to see the people with dementia as individuals and builds on their relationships with others, including their family carers, to improve the health and wellbeing for both the person with dementia and their carer.We see the relationship between a person with dementia and their family carer as vital to enabling them to live well with dementia at home and in their communities, recognising the uniqueness of their life experiences, their hopes and their wishes for the future.
