Event: Love Where You Live Forum

Come along to Wirral’s first Love Where You Live Forum and meet other volunteers making a difference to Wirral’s environment!

Wirral has seen a recent upwelling of numbers of residents, businesses and visitors taking an interest in improving the local environment of the Wirral.  This has resulted in the formation of a number of new groups and also an increase in the number of people getting involved (particularly in litter picking activities) – either on an ad hock basis or more regularly.

Wirral Council rolled out 20 new Love Where You Live hubs in February 2018, to provide litter picking equipment for people to borrow.  These are being well used by residents, scout and guide troops, schools, friend groups and businesses.

The Love Where You Live forum will give you the opportunity to meet with other environmental volunteers, to share ideas and stories, discuss problems, ask questions, find solutions and discuss the support available from the Council.

Location:  Birkenhead Town Hall

Date: Wednesday 14th November, 2018

Time: 5pm welcome with tea and coffee for a 5:30pm start, finish by 7pm.

Please confirm attendance to [email protected] or your local Constituency office.

We’re looking forward to meeting with you!
