Select a donation amount
The donation page offers 4 donation amounts and the choice between a one-off or regular donation. It’s a clean, easy-to-read page that’ll make giving feel good.
Confirm mobile number
We’ll ask the donor to confirm their mobile number is correct, and in some cases send an SMS PIN code to enter. Once verified, the donor clicks Donate Now.
GiftAid built-in
We know GiftAid is crucial to charities, so we’ve made it really straight-forward to make a declaration. We also save the details, so it’s quicker next time.
How much does it cost?
We charge a 5% fee from each donation. This is deducted from the GiftAid reclaimed on behalf of the charity. This means the charity is better equipped to tackle their causes, rather than worry about providing reliable, robust donation services and support.
If the donation isn’t eligible for GiftAid then we make take our fee from the donation with the charities consent.
What’s the difference between this and Text Giving?
We’re big fans of giving by text message. However this is best suited for offline donations, such as TV promotions or train adverts. We developed DonateToday as an alternative for online donations, using mobile payments that follow a traditional online payment methodology rather than a clunky SMS based workaround!
