Disability Living Allowance (DLA) is changing to (PIP) Personal Independence Payment
DLA is ending for people who were born after 1948 or are 16 or over. You will continue to get DLA until the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) writes to tell you when it will end.
You will be asked to apply for PIP a new benefit that helps with some of the extra costs caused by long term ill – health or disability
