Community Campaigns & Engagement workshop – Monday 20th August 2018


Held at the Lauries, Birkenhead on the 20th August from 9:30 – 12pm.

Event Details:

This workshop is all about engagement and campaigning in the community.

In this workshop, you will learn how to run an effective community campaign and to engage with the public and other organisations.

You will also learn how to utilise social media effectively to your organisation’s advantage.

The workshop is being delivered by Cllr. Warren Ward, an effective community champion and Wirral Borough Councillor.

About Cllr Warren Ward

Elected in 2016 aged 18 – Warren made history both locally and nationally as the UK’s Youngest Elected Politician – Prior to this Warren was the UK’s youngest Parliamentary Campaign Manager & Agent.

Warren is President of New Ferry Rangers Football Club and is founder & Chairperson of the New Ferry Town Team, a multi-agency strategic board for regeneration following the New Ferry disaster in 2017.

Warren has worked in the public sector for most of his career in the UK Civil Service and Local Government. Warren is now working at the Wirral Chamber of Commerce.

He has received national recognition for community work by the UK Rotary Club in 2012 & 2014.
