Come along to Wirral Together Communities Forum – 27th March

0

Please join us for our next Wirral Together Communities Forum, we are headed back to the Lauries for our spring event.  We have a packed agenda with plenty of opportunities to network.

We have had feedback from previous sessions that it would be really useful to sit on tables with organisations who have similar beneficiary groups to allow you to share your experiences.  At this meeting, we will be trialling some ‘thematic’ tables to help the networking, we know that you will tell us if we have got this right, but please do let us know how we can make these tables work for you.

Agenda

9am – Registration

Networking and the all-important Tea and Coffee!

9:30am – Healthy Wirral

Healthy Wirral is the initiative designed to encourage re-shaping of health services and social care in Wirral, whilst supporting individuals to take more responsibility for looking after their own health. This session will explore the What, Where, When and How the health sector aims to link with the third sector using the neighbourhood model.

10am – Wirral Council and Wirral Partnership 2030 Vision

A more successful area means more jobs, more visitors, a skilled workforce, increased investment and more money in the local economy. Here in Wirral, we have a fantastic set of assets, but more needs to be done to raise the profile and image of our place to make potential investors, workers and visitors aware of our offer, with a view to securing more investment, stimulating more visitor spending and attracting more talent to the area.

One of Wirral Council’s priorities is to build on the success of our previous work with partner organisations and the business community to develop ‘Wirral Vision 2030’, identifying what makes us distinctive, and creating a competitive, coherent and compelling narrative and brand proposition that we can all use as ambassadors for the area.

10:20am – Comfort Break

10:30am – Consultation workshop about 2030 Plan

We would very much welcome your insight and opinions in support of this piece of work to help us shape the narrative, this element of the morning will involve table discussions.

12-1pm – Lunch and networking

Stick around and share some lunch with us, chat with new and old friends.
