Neo Community have been given the opportunity to grant funds to be able to ensure over 7500 children get hampers and activity packs over the Christmas Holidays and February Half Term.
This funding is being managed by Neo Community but is open to all partners and groups who are able to source, deliver and work with schools to get the referrals to apply.
As you know Christmas is rapidly approaching, this is why there is such a quick turn around on this and the deadline for applications is Sunday 29th November at 12pm.
They are running some briefing sessions tomorrow for everyone involved to get the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification, the times are:
- Tuesday 24th November 1pm
- Tuesday 24th November 5pm
- Thursday 26th November 1pm

The aim of the project is to deliver hampers to Free School Meal children households with home based activity packs over the Christmas Holidays and February Half Term (3 weeks total):
The anticipated reach is:
FSM Children
- 6346 children (delivered to 4895 households) with Food hampers
- 6346 Activity packs (per child not household)
They are looking to grant £20 per week, for hampers, for the 4895 households, with a contingency for larger families (more than 3 children eligible for FSM – to be paid in January on receipt of monitoring)
£5 per week, per child for the activity packs (based on all 6346 children)
Nursery under 5’s (free places)
- 1120 children with food hampers
- 1120 Activity packs
They are looking to grant £15 per week, for hampers, for the 1120 children.
£6 per week, per child for the activity packs (1120 children)
