Chesire and Merseyside People Board’s Workforce Developing Funding

Health Education England have allocated workforce development funding to the Cheshire and Merseyside People Board (CMPB) 2021/2022. To access this funding, system colleagues are encouraged to submit a proposal to the CMPB for consideration.

This proposal document will be the initial framework for establishing the concept of your project. CMPB expects it to demonstrate the central issues or questions that your project intends to address. The completed document serves as a key tool for the implementation of the project and will be referred to throughout the project lifecycle. All sections of this proposal form will need to be completed.

The CMPB have agreed a number of priority workforce areas to allocate this funding against.  Therefore, any proposal must meet one or more of these. Please indicate which priority area/s your proposal will meet below:

☐    Using non-traditional routes to increase supply to the C & M workforce

☐         Growing the workforce for the future and retaining our current workforce

☐         Tackling unequal access and outcomes

☐         Helping the NHS to support broader social and economic development

☐         Enhancing productivity and value for money, including digital innovation

☐         The need to respond to Covid-19 recovery
