Cheshire & Merseyside Women & Children’s Services Partnership – Improving Maternal Mental Health VCSE Small Grants Programme

0

(Deadline for applications 2nd March)

As part of the Cheshire & Merseyside Women & Children’s Services Partnership, partners have secured funding to further develop and enhance the work of grass roots voluntary and community groups on women’s peri-natal mental health across the sub-region. The funding will support very local activity to support women and their families who are expecting a child or have recently given birth. They may have been affected by social isolation due to Covid-19.

We know we are in unusual times, but we think extra resources to support and improve mental health is going to be critical now more than ever. We would encourage groups to apply and to think about how they can offer their support during the Covid-19 crisis.

The funding will enable Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise groups to develop and deliver a range of projects that support the ambitions and priorities of the Improving Partnership in Cheshire and Merseyside.

The CVS network across Cheshire & Merseyside is running this small grant programme. In each area they will establish a Community of Practice that will bring funded organisations together to share best practice and to look at ways in which we can work together to make a real difference in our communities.

Groups who are applying for funding must be willing to commit to working as part of the Community of Practice. This will involve attending network sessions and sharing their experiences with others.
