‘National Carers Week 2016- Building Carer Friendly Communities’
Monday 6th June – 10am-4pm
This year to celebrate National Carers Week, Wired is working in partnership with Wirral University Teaching Hospital to raise awareness and help Wirral to become a ‘Carer Friendly Community’. The Mayor of Wirral, Councillor Pat Hackett and Mayoress, Mrs Elaine Hackett will be launching Carers Week activities along with members of the Agencies for Carers Executive (ACE group) and invited guests at 10am in the foyer at the main entrance. Staff/volunteer members from many of Wirral’s community organisations will be on hand to offer information and advice for most of the day.

The Wired Carer Connectors will be back at Wirral University Teaching Hospital, in partnership with Everton Football Club. We will be celebrating the valuable work Wirral Carers do with special guests Wirral Mayor- Councillor Pat Hackett, Everton Ambassador- Ian Snodin and the Memories Choir. Please join us in raising awareness of Wirral’s 40,000 unpaid Carers.
