A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is marking its centenary with community grants worth £1,917 each.
The Blakemore Foundation was set up by the Blakemore family to support local good causes across the company’s trading area. The launch of the 1917 Heritage Grants are aimed to support the local community and help grow a sustainable business for the next 100 years.
Eligibility:

– Good causes must be located within A.F. Blakemore’s trading area (highlighted in red on the map to the right)
– The grant must be used to sustain the good cause for the long term, for example funding towards a new building, specialist equipment, refurbishments or learning programmes. |
Requests falling outside our guidelines include:
– Grants to individuals, including students
– The salaries of charities/ organisations
– Overseas appeals
– Expeditions or overseas travel
– Marketing promotions
– Endowment funds
– Political donations
