About Autism exhibition which is being held on Saturday 23rdSeptember 2017 at the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton.
The first event was held in October last year and it was a great success. We received many positive comments from the attendees, who were pleased that they could pick up information from a variety of exhibitors, in a location that was accessible to them. We endeavoured to include as much variety as possible at the exhibition, to ensure it would be of interest to as many as possible.
My niece is autistic, and my sister founded the About Autism Parent Support group to offer a friendly environment for parents to chat about their experiences. From this, she realised the difficulties many people experienced when trying to find the right information. We decided to create the About Autism exhibition to offer that information in an easily accessible format.
We are now looking for exhibitors for this years date, and thought you may be interested in attending. You would be a great addition to our line-up which includes Autism Together, The Witherslack Group, Creative Care, The PDA Society, and ‘Hands Up’ Makaton Training.
The exhibition will have a full running list of speakers, clinics that attendees can book in on the day, exhibitor stands, plus quiet room, and on site café. Tickets for attendees will remain at £5, and under 16’s go free.
Exhibition spaces cost £200 and you will be provided with electricity and tables if required. This cost also includes advertisement on our website, social media etc. plus map location, and write up in the exhibition brochure which will be given to attendees on the day.
