The Evolve programme is a new £17.5million initiative supporting organisations with a limited track record in fundraising to enable them to attract more private giving. Private giving can come in the form of major gifts, trusts and foundations, corporate donations, sponsorship and individual giving.
The Evolve fund aims to enable more private giving to arts and culture. It will do this by supporting organisations that have recently begun to fundraise to achieve step change in their ability to earn philanthropic income.
Through this programme we will:
- offer match funding to incentivise new philanthropic giving
- invest in the skills, capacity and culture of organisations to better enable them to raise philanthropic income
We will be taking the things we’ve learnt from the Catalyst arts programme and building on that investment to help organisations develop successful and sustainable fundraising models that continue to generate new money for the sector beyond the end of the grant programme.
How the fund will work
The online application form will open on Thursday 14 January 2016. Applications must be submitted by 12.00 (Midday) on Friday 19 February 2016. Applications submitted after this time will not be considered.
We will aim to notify applicants of our decision no later than 22 weeks after the application has closed.
We expect to make in the region of 150 grants, supporting organisations for a period of up to three year. You can apply for between £75,000 and £150,000.
