Often under-recognised, smaller charities are the lifeblood of the sector. But in the fast-changing digital context, we know it can be easy for tiny organisations with minimal resource to feel overwhelmed.
How CAST can help
Over the past two years, CAST has worked with over 300 nonprofits of all sizes, supporting them to become more resilient and responsive to the changing needs of their communities.
Whether it’s helping senior leaders on our Digital Fellowship to embed digital into their organisational strategy and governance, creating incredible new digital products and services on our Fuse accelerator programme or speaking to charities who are just starting out on their digital journey, the message has been clear:
There has never been so much appetite in the sector to use tech and design to protect, support and scale vital services and improve lives.
We have learned a huge amount from this work, but we want to learn more.
In 2018, we’re focusing much of our work on smaller charities: those with an annual income of £1m or less, which make up 97% of the sector. We want to understand how best to support these amazing organisations to harness the power of digital.
We are currently designing new programmes, resources and events specifically based on the needs of smaller charities – but we want to make sure we get it right – and this is why we want to hear from you!
Help us to help you
In April and May we are opening up our phone lines to talk to you about your ambitions for digital, the challenges you face and most importantly what you think would help you achieve your vision. In return, we’ll support you with our knowledge, expertise and connections.
Where appropriate, we’ll also put you forward for our brand new, funded Fuse for Smaller Charities digital accelerator programme, starting in July 2018.
Your insight will make a huge difference to our ability to support smaller charities on their digital journey – so please book a 30 minute call with us so we can chat!
