Adult Education Budget Courses

Interserve Learning & Employment have a considerable budget available from the Liverpool City Region Funding Authority to fund Adult Education Budget training courses. They also have a separate budget to fund the same courses in the wider North West (excluding Manchester).

The main purpose of this funding is to engage adults (aged 19 and over) who are residents in Liverpool City Region to provide them with the skills, learning and development they need to equip them for work, progression into further training or for progression to an Apprenticeship programme. The funding allows us to be flexible and to tailor programmes of learning around local priorities and to help eligible learners engage/re-engage with learning, help build confidence and enhance their personal wellbeing.

The funding is open to both the unemployed and employed and the eligibility criteria is as follows:

Age 19 or older as of 31st August 2001

Unemployed or working earning less than £18,135 gross annual salary

Not in education

Right to work in UK

In response to Covid-19 their training is now fully accessible online.

All programmes can now be studied at a distance with online courses that include digital videoconferencing and virtual support from expert trainers.
