Age UK Wirral is a dynamic and innovative local charity, passionate about making life better for people in the local community.
They have up to 5 vacancies for new members to join their governing body, the Board of Trustees, to help guide Age UK Wirral towards achieving its mission and to ensure the organization is effectively managed.
Age UK Wirral would welcome applications from individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and from all sections of the local community, but specifically are looking for skills or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Social care
- Social sector outcomes and impact
- Premises & building maintenance
- Health & Safety / Fire Safety
- HR, learning & development
- Recent working with or for CQC
- Financial governance
An open event will be held on 27th November 2017 to provide potential applicants with an opportunity to meet other Trustees and find out more about the organization.
