The Job Centre has offered to hold another Employer Information Event this time specifically for the Voluntary and Community Sector to help inform organisations understand how Universal Credit may impact them and their employees.
Universal Credit full service is being rolled out in the Wirral area on 15th November 2017. Changes to benefits systems are going to impact all staff employed on 16-hour contracts. The 16 hours rule will disappear, so staff can increase their hours and no longer worry about losing their benefits.
This would also include the opportunity to have a one -to– one session with Jobcentre Plus Account Managers for personalised service overview and future planning.
