Salary: £15,950 – £18,770 (pro rata)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Play Worker to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in all Claire House settings; WIRRAL Hospice, Liverpool Day therapy unit and community to provide play activities to children and young people who have complex, palliative or end of life care needs.
A minimum of NVQ level 2 in Play or other relevant qualification with at least 2 years post qualification experience. The job requires planning and implementing day to day play sessions/activities as well as facilitating group sessions for children and young people. You will need an ability to work flexibly and have experience of adapting activities to differing needs. A knowledge/experience of sensory play would be advantageous.

Our multidisciplinary team provides symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as planned and emergency short breaks both at the hospice, Liverpool day therapy unit and in the community. Dedicated family support and counselling is provided for all the family on an individual or group basis.
