Opportunity to deliver Training for the Youth Investment Fund programme

Following our pilot ‘Youth Investment Fund’ programme last year we are now looking for Community-based providers who would be willing to deliver the 7-week programme in-house under the ‘4REAL’ banner which will include activities such as:

v  Team Building/Problem solving

v  Health and Well-being – Drug Awareness/Healthy eating

v  Social Action ‘Pitch and plan’

v  Social action in practice

v  Cyber safety

v  Leadership/Communication

v  Studying behaviour

As discussed when we last met the Youth Investment Fund (YIF) is a £40 million joint investment by the Department for  Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Big Lottery Fund in open access youth provision in targeted disadvantaged areas. One element of the YIF project is the 4REAL programme which the Youth Fed has been successful in securing funding to deliver different elements of in the Wirral area. 4REAL is community-based provision that young people (aged 11-15yrs) can go to without referral, including centre based provision and outreach or detached work. It helps young people to develop skills, improve their wellbeing and engage with their communities, through a wide range of activities and support (such as skills development, sports, arts, culture and social action).

As we have large targets to meet our next step is to roll out the programme to more community-based centres throughout the Wirral area and we are hoping you would be able to help us with this. There will be a payment to cover programme delivery which can be discussed in more detail.

If you are interested in partnering with us could we meet to discuss this proposal in more details and how we can work together rolling out this opportunity in 2018?

In the meantime please check out our website for more detail:
