You are invited to the Press Launch of the Liverpool Santa Dash this Wednesday (19 October), at 10.30am at Pier Head Liverpool.

The countdown is now on to the UK’s biggest festive fun run in Liverpool, with organisers BTR Liverpool determined to make the 13th annual event bigger and better than ever before.

Highly regarded as the city’s kickstart to Christmas, the Radio City Liverpool Santa Dash in association with Blue Air takes place on Sunday 4 December. The event promises a day of festive fun and Christmas cheer for all the family – and snow is even guaranteed!

BTR Liverpool are now taking the Santa Dash message on-board a City Sights Liverpool open-top bus this Wednesday morning to tour the city and spread the message further in its bid to win back the world title from Las Vegas.

So join us at Pier Head Liverpool, Canada Boulevard. Interview and filming opportunities will be available.

Guests include Liverpool actor Phil Olivier, who is taking part in this year’s Liverpool Santa Dash; Liverpool actor Kurtis Stacey; BTR Race Director Alan Rothwell who created the Liverpool Santa Dash; also confirmed are the three Thomas brothers – Ryan Thomas (Coronation Street), Adam Thomas (Emmerdale), Scott Thomas (Love Island); and a group of 20 Santas from The City of Liverpool College. Also attending are representatives from the event’s three official BTR Footsteps Fundraisers charities and mascots – Radio City’s Cash For Kids, Everton in the Community and Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.

Press are invited to attend at 10.30am for a photocall at 10.45am at the open-top bus on Canada Boulevard, next to The Beatles’ statue.

At 11.00am, the City Sights Liverpool open-top bus will leave the Pier Head for a one-hour tour of the city with all guests aboard. The bus will then return to the Pier Head.

Press are invited to attend both the photocall and join the group on-board the bus for further photo and filming opportunities.

Please confirm your attendance in advance by emailing BTR Press Officer Erica Dillon on [email protected] or by calling 07990 501558.

Please state whether you are attending just the photocall or both and require a space on the open-top bus.

The postcode for Canada Boulevard and Pier Head Liverpool is L3 1BY.
