The Community Fund is delivered as part of the Trust’s redevelopment project, Carillion’s community engagement programme and its wider sustainability targets. The aim of the programme is to leave a legacy from the New Royal Liverpool Hospital project to both the City and the local community. By funding community projects to support community enrichment and initiatives, the aim is to positively contribute towards the quality of life of the communities in which we work.
The fund priorities are:
- Healthy Living (5 Ways to Well Being)
- Building stronger communities
- Cleaner, safer, greener communities
LCVS administers the fund and application forms and guidance can be downloaded from this page. Please read the guidance notes before completing the application form.
Applicants must be registered charities or have charitable aims as part of their governing document and must be able to demonstrate public benefit. Applications are only open to Liverpool based groups.
The maximum amount a group can apply for is £2,000. Successful groups are unlikely to be funded twice within the same 12 month period. Please note that the average grants are around £1,000.
The closing date for application is 5pm on Monday 30 May 2016.
Applications must be submitted in Word format (not as a PDF) by email. Decisions will be made in June 2016.
