Community Action Wirral will be hosting a series of events in partnership with Wirral Chamber of Commerce. This is your opportunity to engage and consult with your infrastructure organisation so that we can offer the most appropriate support to help you grow and develop in the future.

These two hour events will be held at The Lauries, 142 Claughton Road, Birkenhead CH41 6EY.

If you run a Community Interest Company, Social Enterprise, Registered Charity, Club, Community Group, Faith Group or other voluntary organisation Community Action Wirral can help you.

Community Action Wirral is the infrastructure organisation for Wirral’s third sector and can provide help and support in a range of areas to help you grow and develop your organisation. These include:

  • Researching funders and writing funding bids
  • Setting up a new group and creating a governing document
  • Recruiting and inducting trustees
  • Support to develop internal policies
  • Good practice and support around volunteering
  • Measuring outcomes and impact

In 2017 Community Action Wirral has already helped achieve more than 150 successful outcomes for organisations like yours. Some examples include supporting successful funding bids, training volunteers and creating a new volunteer organisation.
