The application rounds are:
1st-28th February (Elderly – £1,000 grant)
1st April – 31st May (Music and the Arts – £5,000 grant)
1st-31st July (Music and the Arts – £1,000 grant)
1st September – 31st October (Elderly – £5,000 grant)
We award grants of £5,000 or £1,000.
To apply for a £5,000 grant, your operating income must be a minimum of £500,000 (there is no maximum)
To apply for a £1,000 grant, your operating income must be a minimum of £50,000 and a maximum of £1,000,000.
If your income is between £500,000 and £1,000,000, you are eligible to apply for EITHER £5,000 OR £1,000, but not both in the same year.

What We Don’t Fund
Capital appeals, including equipment
Schools, including activities
Minibuses or other Vehicles
Charities involved with religion (including repair of Church fabric)
Charities involved with animals (welfare and conservation)
Individuals, including individuals embarking on a trip overseas with a charitable organisation
Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies
Holidays, including respite holidays
Individual hospices (national organisations can apply)
We only award grants to organisations registered with the Charity Commission (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or OSCR, or exempt from registration.
Grants are made four times a year.
